Deaerators - Tray Type
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
- Removes dissolved oxygen and non-condensable gases from boiler feedwater using direct steam contact.
- Removes dissolved oxygen to as low as 0.005 cc/liter (≈7 ppb) per ABMA testing procedures..
- Incoming water is distributed across multiple trays, forming thin flowing layers for efficient heating.
- Steam rises through the tray stack, heating the water to near saturation temperature and releasing dissolved gases.
- Counterflow contact between rising steam and cascading water provides thorough gas removal.
- Released gases are separated and vented from the system.
- Deaerated water collects in the storage section for boiler use.
- Continuous steam blanket ensures stable performance across varying load conditions.
WHY CHOOSE A SPRAY TYPE DEAERATOR
- Ideal for systems with varying load & operating ranges
- Stable operation under changing demand and Provides maximum contact time for highly reliable oxygen removal
- Well suited for systems with moderate to high condensate return rates
